We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who possesses strong traits of reliability + problem-solving + communication skills + teamwork. This person has a passion for high quality food & food service to guests, is friendly by nature, and who is willing to learn and ask questions. This individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining a consistently friendly and “service first” experience for guests. Duties will mostly include: Taking food & beverage orders from guests Serving delicious LOVE PIZZA food and beverages Entering orders into our mobile/handheld point-of-sale devices Transacting payments Ensuring that tables are always served timely, warmly, and accurately. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a consistently positive attitude + the ability to work efficiently and confidently with fellow team members. Previous work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment is greatly desired. Experience working in a restaurant is also a plus. Server Responsibilities: Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude Enter patrons' food orders into point-of-sale system Engage with customers in a friendly and compassionate manner High level of knowledge of the LOVE PIZZA menu, including nightly/weekly specials, with the ability to make suggestions based on guest interest and preference Ensure tables are enjoying their meals, anticipate guest needs whenever possible, and take action to correct any problems Maintain accurate and up-to-date table tabs, and ensure final checks reflect all charges Collect payments from tables Help Chef and food preparation team when necessary Server Requirements: Experience providing excellent and hospitality-driven service in a fast-paced environment A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised Able to handle credit card payments accurately and operate a point-of-sale system High school diploma Ability to work in fast-paced work environment and deliver food/beverage orders to tables in a timely & friendly manner
